International Conference on Waste Management 2015 in Osaka: Report of the Workshop and Meeting

Joint Workshop on Regional Workshop on Environmentally Sound Management (ESM) of Mercury Wastes and Regional Inception Workshop on Minamata Initial Assessment (MIA) was organised by International Environmental Technology Centre (IETC) of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on 16-17 December 2016 in Osaka, Japan, as part of the International Conference on Waste Management 2015. The joint workshop focused on capacitybuilding on sound manage of mercury and mercury waste in participating countries for early implementation and ratification of the Minamata Convention on Mercury.
