Quarterly Report to the 175th Meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (April – June 2026): Advance Unedited Version

This report provides the Committee of Permanent Representatives to the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) with an update on key global and regional developments during the second quarter of 2026, in implementation of UNEP’s Medium-Term Strategy (2026-2029) and Programme of Work for 2026-2027, both of which are aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The report also sets out the linkages between programmatic delivery and progress on the implementation of resolutions adopted by the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA).
