Validated Terminal Review of the UNEP Project Environment, Health and Pollution (PIMS 02021) 2018 – 2023

This report is a management-led Terminal Review of the UNEP Environment, Health and Pollution Project implemented from 2018 to 2023. The project’s overall goal was to enhance capacity of member states, stakeholders and citizens to prevent and address pollution in an integrated manner to improve environmental quality and the health of all. The review sought to assess project performance (relevance, effectiveness and efficiency) and determine outcomes stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, donors and relevant agencies participating in this project. In addition, the review assessed how the project deliverables and the policy work advanced by the project can be sustained beyond its duration.
