Validated Terminal Review of the UNEP/GEF Project Strengthening Trinidad and Tobago's capacity in transparency for climate change mitigation and adaptation (GEF ID: 10596) 2021 – 2024

This report is a Terminal Review of a UNEP/GEF Enabling Activities project titled ‘Strengthening Trinidad and Tobago's capacity in transparency for climate change mitigation and adaptation’ and implemented between 2021 and 2024. The project's overall development goal was to Strengthen Trinidad and Tobago's transparency systems to meet the requirements of the Enhanced Transparency Framework under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. The review sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outputs, outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
