National Workshop for the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia on Strengthening the Measure of Progress in Disaster Risk Reduction in Sub-Saharan Africa through the Sendai Framework Monitoring Process and Enhanced Disaster Loss Data: Concept Note

A National Workshop on Strengthening the Measure of Progress in Disaster Risk Reduction in Sub-Saharan Africa through the Sendai Framework Monitoring Process and Enhanced Disaster Loss Data will be organized in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 28 to 30 January 2025 by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in close collaboration with the Ethiopian Disaster Risk Management Commission (EDRMC) and the Ethiopian Statistical Service (ESS). The event is funded under the 11th European Development Fund’s (EDF11) programme titled “Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance and Recovery Capacities.”
