Guidance on Monitoring and Enforcement Measures to Eliminate Mercury-added Skin Lightening Products

This guide document summarizes findings of related background research, stakeholder consultations and training workshops2 conducted under the GEF 10810 Project, Eliminating Mercury Skin Lightening Products (Jamaica, Gabon and Sri Lanka) to provide support to Customs authorities and enforcement officers (among other key stakeholders) in strengthening the detection, control, seizure, and reporting of mercury-added SLPs (and by extension, mercury, mercury compounds and other mercury-added products).
