Strategic Plan on Management of Mercury in Artisanal and Small Scale Gold Mining In Cambodia 2012-2016

This strategic plan provides Cambodia’s framework for reducing and eliminating mercury use in artisanal and small-scale gold mining. It identifies key environmental, health and regulatory challenges and outlines actions focused on legal reform, institutional strengthening, research on mercury-free technologies, and community awareness. The plan sets objectives, implementation measures, budget requirements and evaluation mechanisms for 2012–2016.
