Experts on Chemicals and Waste Management Databank and UN Environment Databank of Laboratories - Global Project on the Updating of National Implementation Plans for POPs

This document presents UN Environment’s paired databases for chemicals and waste management. It introduces an Experts Roster created under the global project to update National Implementation Plans for persistent organic pollutants, listing 132 experts from 65 countries and enabling authorities to locate qualified specialists for POPs-related assignments and capacity-building. It also describes the Databank of Laboratories, which catalogs 210 laboratories analyzing mercury and 256 analyzing POPs, providing a consolidated view of analytical capacity.
