Concept Note - National Workshop for the Republic of Cameroon on Strengthening the Measure of Progress in Disaster Risk Reduction in Sub-Saharan Africa through the Sendai Framework Monitoring Process and Enhanced Disaster Loss Data

A National Workshop on Strengthening the Measure of Progress in Disaster Risk Reduction in Sub-Saharan Africa through the Sendai Framework Monitoring Process and Enhanced Disaster Loss Data will be organized in Yaoundé, Cameroon from 12 to 13 March 2025 by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), in close collaboration with the National Institute of Statistics and the Direction de la Protection Civile. The workshop is funded under the 11th European Development Fund’s (EDF11) programme titled “Strengthening Disaster Risk Governance and Recovery Capacities.”
