8th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum (8th APAN Forum) - Stream Session Proposal Form

Stream Sessions: A lead organisation with a special interest and expertise in each stream's topic will be identified. This organisation will be responsible for coordinating the development of the background documentation for their respective stream, under the overall coordination of the APAN Secretariat, which will also support the design and delivery of the output. The lead organisation for each stream is encouraged to seek the involvement of partners in the development processes of the stream session. The active participation of partners in these areas will enhance the richness and diversity of the discussions and outcomes of the forum. The provided session proposal form in Annex I will be compiled and serve as a concept note of the stream. This document provides a structured template for submitting stream session proposals to the Eighth Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum. It specifies required administrative details, including organisers, partners, speakers, and target audience, and outlines expectations for partner contributions and moderator responsibilities. The document defines the scope and intent of sessions, emphasising collective learning on effectiveness, scaling challenges, and barriers to transformative adaptation rather than organisational promotion.
