Environmental Aspects of Alumina Production: An Overview

With a view to making more widely known the environmentally related issues associated with alumina production and to providing guidance to environmental policy makers in governments and industry, the UNEP Secretariat prepared this Overview on the Environmental Aspects of Alumina Production, drawing on material gathered in association with JNEP's on-going consultation in this industrial sector and on the basis of the IJNEP Secretariat Report agreed at the Workshop.
