Events organized on the Occasion of International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer in 2018

This report describes events organised in Uzbekistan in 2018 to mark the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, coordinated by the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection with the United Nations Development Programme and other partners. It outlines activities including presentation of results from a project to phase out hydrochlorofluorocarbons, highlighting infrastructure creation, training programmes, monitoring improvements and demonstrations of alternative technologies.
