Evaluation of the Joint Initiative of the World Commission on Dams and the United Nations Environment Programme on the Environmental, Social and Economic Impacts of Large Dams

This evaluation covers the project that was implemented jointly by UNEP and WCD on environmental, social and economic impacts of large dams. The evaluation established the following : that this UNEP project was essential to the WCD work programme, that the outputs were reflected in the WCD report and that the project successfully established linkages between WCD and other agencies and organization.
