UNEP Guide for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Laws

This document offers a guide to laws that support energy efficiency and renewable energy. It targets officials and project developers who need provisions and options. It explains requirements such as environmental assessment, disclosure, public participation, pricing, enforcement, education, and regulatory design. It adds chapters on financing. It surveys efficiency laws for industry, appliances, buildings, and transport, and renewable laws for solar, wind, biomass, and geothermal. It addresses rural energy needs.
