Abstract

This report outlines how least developed countries can pursue a transition towards a low carbon, resource efficient and socially inclusive economy to support poverty reduction and development. It examines structural constraints, key sectors such as energy, agriculture and tourism, and policy pathways including investment, technology and trade. It highlights opportunities for renewable energy, sustainable production and ecosystem management, alongside the need for international support, financing and coordinated policy frameworks to enable this transition.
