Abstract

This document presents Brunei Darussalam’s national statement at UNEA-6. It reaffirms commitment to the UNFCCC and Paris Agreement, targeting a 20 percent emissions reduction by 2030 through BNCCP measures, including industrial cuts, expanded solar, lower transport emissions, efficient power management, a Mandatory Reporting Directive, and a National Adaptation Plan. It highlights the ASEAN Centre for Climate Change. It supports a plastics treaty and reports coastal clean-up data showing 62 percent plastic and progress from “No Plastic Bag Everyday.”
