Summary of World Ozone Day Vanuatu

This document details the collaborative environmental event held at the Sea Front Stage in Port Vila, Vanuatu, to commemorate International Ozone Day and World Clean-up Day. Organised by several government departments, non-governmental organisations, and local societies, the programme aimed to foster cooperation for environmental conservation. More than two hundred and fifty attendees participated, including students, youth groups, and government officials. Key activities featured a community-wide waste collection initiative covering the town and its surroundings, alongside educational displays advocating for the Montreal Protocol. Furthermore, the programme included a poetry competition, theatrical performances, and musical advocacy regarding ozone layer preservation.
