[Report on the application of the environmental impact assessment procedures]

The present document has ben prepared in response to frequent requests from developing countries for simple and yet adequate procedures and guidelines for the preparation of environmental impact assessments which could be used in the context of regional agreements on the protection of the marine environment adopted in support of UNEP's Regional Seas Programme.
