Chair’s summary of the sixth United Nations Environment Programme Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific - Ministerial Segment

The sixth session of United Nations Environment Programme’s Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific comprised of a Senior Officials Segment on 28 August and a Ministerial segment on 29 August. The Asia Pacific Regional Youth Environment Forum and the Asia Pacific Science Policy Business Dialogue on the Environment were held on 26 August. The Asia Pacific Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum was held on 27 August. The objectives of the Forum were to discuss: • Progress in the region in implementing resolutions and decisions of the United Nations Environment Assembly of the United Nations Environment Programme; and • Regional priorities for the seventh session of the United Nations Environment Assembly ”Advancing sustainable solutions for a resilient planet”.
