Validated Terminal Review of the UNEP-GEF Project ‘Building the Foundation for Forest Landscape Restoration at Scale Project’ (GEFID 5775) (2015 – 2020)

This report is a management-led Terminal Review of a UNEP/GEF Project implemented between 2015 and 2020. The project's overall development goal was to advance the building of a foundation for forest landscape restoration at scale. The review sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
