Application to Global Mercury Partnership - Fair Life for Miners to End Poverty

This letter expresses the support of Fair Life for Miners to End Poverty for the United Nations Environment Programme Global Mercury Partnership and outlines its planned project “ASGM footprint without mercury” in Chad. It describes proposed activities including capacity building on emission control measures, elimination of whole ore amalgamation, mercury reactivation, and formalisation of artisanal miners, aligned with the national action plan and aimed at reducing atmospheric emissions and environmental contamination from artisanal and small-scale gold mining.
