Abstract
This report presents a recovery action plan addressing the status, distribution, and conservation of sea turtles in Antigua and Barbuda within a regional environmental programme framework. It compiles scientific and observational information on species occurrence, habitat use, and population pressures, while identifying key threats such as habitat degradation, over-exploitation, pollution, and inadequate regulatory mechanisms. The document outlines structured management approaches, including habitat protection, monitoring, regulatory development, and public awareness measures. It also incorporates training, data exchange, and institutional coordination as implementation methods. Overall, it establishes priorities and practical measures to support species recovery and strengthen national and regional conservation capacity.
