Third Extraordinary Intergovernmental Meeting of the Northwest Pacific Action Plan: Report of the Meeting

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the proposed IGM could not be held in Beijing, China, in February 2020. After several rounds of consultations with the NOWPAP Member States, the Programme of Work for 2020-2021 and associated budget were approved by the NOWPAP Member States on 18 May 2020 by correspondence. It was also proposed to approve major meeting documents by correspondence and organize a virtual meeting, named as the Third Extraordinary NOWPAP IGM, on 27 January 2021 instead of the 24th NOWPAP IGM, as ToR for the NOWPAP Intergovernmental Meeting related to hosting of and chairing the meeting could not be strictly followed.
