Survey on Emerging Policy Issues and Other Issues of Concern - Summary

This report summarises responses from a survey of over sixty stakeholders involved in the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management, focusing on emerging policy issues and other issues of concern. It outlines the purpose, scope and methodology of the survey, which collected structured and open responses between July and November 2022. The document describes stakeholder participation across regions and sectors, and presents consolidated findings on current and future engagement with eight identified policy issues. It highlights patterns of interest, collaboration, information exchange and capacity-building activities, as well as involvement in existing Communities of Practice. The report is intended to inform intersessional discussions and deliberations at the fifth session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management.
