Recent Trends in Material Flows and Resource Productivity in Latin America

This report is intended to supplement the original 'Resource Efficiency in Latin America: Economics and Outlook' (UNEP 2011) report. The content herein is based on a new material flows database established for the Latin America and Caribbean region, which was created subsequent to the earlier report. The scope of this report is considerably narrower than the original report, focusing on deepening quantitative analyses specifically relating to primary material flows, and the trajectories of related resource efficiency indicators.
