Ministerial Declaration of the United Nations Environment Assembly at its Seventh Session - First Revised Draft

This document records ministers and stakeholders meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, at the Environment Assembly to advance sustainable solutions for a resilient planet. It reaffirms the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and sets out four action areas: action on interconnected crises; implementation of multilateral environmental agreements; equity, participation, and support for implementation; and international environmental governance under international law. Priorities include reducing pollution, advancing circular economy approaches, shifting food and energy systems, improving water management, and strengthening climate mitigation, adaptation, early warning, and risk reduction.
