Validated Terminal Review of the UNEP/GEF Project ‘Strengthening Argentina’s Transparency Framework on GHG Inventories and Mitigation’ (GEF ID 9955) 2019 – 2024

This report is a Terminal Review of a UNEP/GEF Project implemented between 2019 and 2024. The Project's overall development goal was that Argentina complies with the requirements of the transparency framework under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change (CBIT 9955). The review sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
