The Montreal Protocol and the Green Economy: Assessing the Contributions and Co-benefits of a Multilateral Environmental Agreement

The contributions of the Montreal Protocol to the Green Economy are evaluated first in terms of economic impacts of ODS phase-out at the sector level and at the macroeconomic level. The report then considers social and environmental co-benefits and the important contribution of the institutional arrangements of the Montreal Protocol.
