Application to Global Mercury Partnership - Government of Honduras

The Centro de Estudios y Control de Contaminantes of the Secretariat of Energy, Natural Resources, Environment and Mines of Honduras submitted a request to join the United Nations Environment Programme Global Mercury Partnership, endorsing its objective to protect human health and the environment from mercury impacts. The institution highlights national efforts to ratify the Minamata Convention, strengthen institutional capacity, develop inventories and address artisanal and small-scale gold mining.
