Abstract
This presentation provides an overview of a regional initiative supporting integrated management of water, land, and ecosystems in Caribbean small island developing states. It outlines the role of the Caribbean Public Health Agency in addressing environmental determinants of health and supporting sustainable development programmes across participating countries. The document describes the project’s objective of preserving ecosystems of global significance while sustaining livelihoods through improved freshwater and coastal water management, sustainable land management, and forest management. It presents project characteristics, participating countries, and national focus areas including biodiversity protection and land degradation. The presentation also explains national and regional components, monitoring frameworks, institutional strengthening, and partnerships designed to enhance environmental governance, scientific research, policy development, and knowledge exchange across the region.
