Strengthening the Science-Policy Interface: A Gap Analysis

This report provides the gap analysis that has been requested by United Nations Environment Assembly Member States, to identify new ways to approach the science-policy interface entailing: • A summary of the characteristics of an effective science-policy interface. • An identification of the gaps found in practice in science-policy interfaces • A set of practical steps that Member States and international organisations can take to fill these observed gaps.
