‘Future of GEO’ Steering Committee Meeting Summary, January 28, 2020

The Steering Committee on the Future of GEO met at its fifth virtual call to discuss progress and plan next steps for the future advancement of the process. Agenda items included: • Review the procurement process for the options paper on the Future of GEO • Discuss the different options for conducting broad consultations on the options paper considering pros, cons, budget situation and carbon emissions, then decide on the preferred option • Discuss the planned Steering Committee facilitated workshops and consultation options • Any other business
