Report of the Governing Council on the Work of its Fifth Session

The report on the firth session of the Governing Council of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is submitted to the General Assembly in accordance with Assembly resolution 2997 (XXVII) of 15 December 1972. The fifth session of the Governing Council was held at UNEP headquarters, Nairobi, from 9 to 25 May 1977. The present report was adopted by the Council at its 75th meeting, on 25 May 1977.
