Développement durable des bassins versants : Un projet pionnier sur la rivière Lukaya

This brochure explains the Lukaya River basin project, implemented in collaboration with the DRC Government, the Lukaya River Users Association, the public water utility (REGIDESO), local communities, and the University of Kinshasa. The brochure includes an overview of physical characteristics of the basin , how the data was collected and the agroforestry system taking place. UNEP oversaw this first-ever catchment-based initiative in the DRC with support from the UN Development Account.
