Regional Dimensions and Priorities on the Global Goal on Adaptation - Policy Brief

This document examines regional perspectives on the Global Goal on Adaptation under the Paris Agreement, drawing on insights from webinars in Asia and the Pacific, Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. It highlights regional priorities, including transformational adaptation, climate risk management, adaptation finance, capacity building, and inclusive, locally led approaches. Despite differing regional contexts, the findings emphasize the need for stronger cooperation, science-based monitoring, adequate finance, and collective action to effectively implement the Global Goal on Adaptation.
