Africa’s participation in the development of an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment - Note by the Secretariat 2023

In addressing the global issue of plastic pollution, the resumed fifth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly of the United Nations Environment Programme, through resolution 5/14 established an intergovernmental negotiating committee (INC) to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment.
