Strategy of the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration - Annex 2. Indicative Activities and Sub-activities

This annex presents an indicative implementation framework for the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration by outlining potential activities and sub-activities across key strategic pathways, while emphasising that the proposed actions are provisional because partner contributions, funding and formal commitments will be established throughout the Decade. It explains that activities will be refined through partnerships, stakeholder engagement and an online Implementation Plan, with roles and responsibilities developed collaboratively at the outset. The annex also describes a broad portfolio of actions to strengthen global awareness, policy reform, technical capacity, education, financing, scientific knowledge, governance and collaboration to support ecosystem restoration at local, national and global levels.
