Terminal Evaluation of the UNEP GEF Project: Development of National Biosafety Frameworks

This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP-GEF project implemented between 2000 and 2016. The overall goal of the project was to prepare countries for the entry into force of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability.
