Decision 1/16 – Legal and Technical Assistance

The Conference: 1. Calls upon the Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions to officially inform Parties, through the Secretariat of the Bamako Convention about its short and long term planned actions within the Africa Region. 2. Requests the Secretariat of the Bamako Convention, in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions to develop technical guidelines for all aspects of hazardous wastes management.
