Methodology Notes [Rules for the dataset used for the Second Global Report on the Environmental Rule of Law Report]

This document sets out the methodology for the Environmental Rule of Law questionnaire carried out as part of the United Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) Second Global Report on the Environmental Rule of Law (EROL Report). This dataset was compiled by UNEP in partnership with Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice and White & Case LLP International Law Firm, Global Law Practice. The data included in the EROL Report reflects responses to a global questionnaire, followed by two review processes.
