Abstract
This report is a high-level synthesis from a virtual North America convening on environmental sustainability in the digital age. It describes discussions on bridging local, regional, and global gaps through data, accelerating data-sharing, strengthening partnerships, collaboration, and trust, building digital literacy, and ensuring reflection in digital transformation processes. The report highlights the role of the UN Environment Programme as a broker of frameworks for data-sharing, digital environmental principles, standards, and norms, and as a space for conversations among stakeholders. It concludes with next steps to continue engaging participants and support digitally driven transformations and digital public goods for planetary crises.
