Project Management and the Environment

This training package provides learning materials on environmental management in development projects, focusing on project development, implementation, monitoring and environmental evaluation. It aims to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes for incorporating environmental considerations into project management, assessing environmental monitoring needs, and planning project environmental evaluation. The materials explain environmental management principles and their application to project planning, environmental impact assessment, monitoring, evaluation, community relations and decision-making. They use study materials, cases, minicases, questionnaires, exercises, quizzes and action-planning activities to support flexible training.
