Regional Seas Strategic Directions 2026-2029

RSSD (2026-2029) provides a solid basis for measurable action towards achieving its vision of “prosperous and climate resilient seas and their respective coastal regions with biologically diverse, healthy, productive, conserved, restored and effectively used marine and coastal ecosystems for the benefit of people and nature.” Its strategic goals and action measures aim to foster harmonized implementation across RSCAPs, while also respecting the diversity of regional approaches and contexts.
