Regional Statement of the Group of Latin America and the Caribbean Countries

This document presents GRULAC’s regional statement to the 11th UNEP Subcommittee of Permanent Representatives.It frames inputs to UNEP’s MTS 2026–2029 and programme of work 2026–2027, reviews performance on climate change, biodiversity, and pollution, and stresses urgency and finance gaps. It welcomes UNEP’s Emissions and Adaptation Gap Reports, links ambition to COP29 finance and COP30 NDC updates, and highlights KM-GBF implementation toward COP16.
