The Global Initiative to End Wildlife Crime comments on the UNEA-6 First Draft Declaration

This document presents comments by ADM Capital Foundation on behalf of the Global Initiative to End Wildlife Crime and its international Champions on the First Draft of the UNEA-6 Ministerial Declaration, submitted to the UNEA-6 President and Moroccan officials. It welcomes the draft and proposes specific textual amendments highlighting the convergence of biodiversity and climate crises, the role of wild animals and plants in ecosystem health, the importance of tackling wildlife trafficking and unsustainable wildlife trade, and the adoption of One Health principles.
