UNEP global judges programme

This book presents an overview of UNEPs Global Judges Programme, and describes the process by which the programme has been initiated, strengthened and expanded throughout the years and especially as a follow up to the UNEP Global Judges Symposium held in Johannesburg on August 2002 and decision 22/17, IIB, asking the Executive Director of UNEP to put in place a worldwide capacity building programme for judiciaries and other legal stakeholders in the field of environmental law.
