• Update the abstract: Water Consumption Footprint (WF) is the attribution of global freshwater consumption to the domestic final demand of a country. Freshwater consumption is the portion of abstracted water from surface water bodies (e.g. rivers or lakes) or groundwater bodies that does not return to inland water resources because it is evapotranspired, incorporated into products.
