Montreal Protocol and Energy Officials "Twin" Together to Find Energy-Efficient and Climate-Friendly Cooling Solutions for Africa

The first regional workshop in Africa for promoting energy-efficient cooling took place in the capital of Botswana under a unique initiative that is “twinning” government officials together in the common cause of climate protection. The workshop brought together two traditionally separate communities – those responsible for managing compliance with the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, and those who craft national energy policies.
