Informal Intergrated Financing Meeting Report during SBSTTA 25

The Environmental Policy Unit, during the 25th meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-25) on 17th October 2023, held an informal meeting on integrated financing to finance the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF). The meeting aimed to map out the specific needs of countries related to financing their biodiversity targets, updating their National Biodiversity Action Plans (NBSAPs), set their national targets, and undertake their implementation. The meeting brought together focal points from African countries, international organizations, academia, biodiversity experts among others.
