Mid-Term Report of Activities for the Project - Reducing Mercury-Added Products and Promoting Improved Management of Mercury-Added Product Waste in Burkina Faso.

The Burkina Faso has received financial support from the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the country has pledged to carry out activities contributing to the environmentally sound management of mercury through the project reducing mercury-added products and promoting improved management of mercury-added product waste in Burkina Faso. The objective of this project is to raise awareness to reduce the use of mercury-containing products and to promote the environmentally sound management of release of these end of life products.
